User Roles
Etropo provides granular control over who can access your budget data.
Administrator Role
- Full access to all budget data
- Can manage users and permissions
- Ability to edit all categories and settings
Regular User Role
- Access limited to assigned categories
- Cannot view total budget numbers or unassigned categories
- Ideal for team members who only need to manage specific budget areas
Category-Based Access
Control what each team member can see:
- Grant access to specific categories
- Users only see data relevant to their responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive budget information
Inviting Team Members
When adding new users to your Etropo account:
- Carefully select the appropriate role (Admin or User)
- You can set which categories they can access on a budget level
Important: Choose the admin role with caution, as administrators have unrestricted access to all budget data and settings.
