- Locate the property in the list
- Click the delete (trash) icon
- Confirm deletion
Important:
- Deleting a property will remove it from all budget items
- This action cannot be undone
- Consider the impact on existing data before deletion
Using Properties in Budget Items
When creating or editing budget items, your defined properties will appear as input fields. Team members can:
- Fill in text properties
- Enter numbers
- Select from dropdown options
- Toggle Yes/No switches
All property values are searchable and can be used to filter your budget items.
When exporting your marketing budget from Etropo all properties will be exported as well.
Best Practices
- Make sure added properties will be actually used by your team. The more properties you’ll add the harder it will be to maintain it.
- Keep property names clear and concise
- Use Select type for values that should be consistent across items
- Review and clean up unused properties periodically
- Consider reporting needs when designing properties
Properties are a powerful way to customize Etropo for your team’s specific needs. They provide structure to your budget data while maintaining flexibility for different use cases.
