Connect Attio to fill a campaign's **Leads** and **Revenue** from your sales pipeline. Etropo counts the deals in one Attio pipeline stage as the campaign's leads. It can also add up their deal values as the campaign's revenue.

## Before you start

- Your organization must be on the Pro plan. See [pricing](https://www.etropo.com/pricing).
- You must be an administrator in Etropo.
- The **Deals** object must be on in your Attio workspace.

## Connect Attio

1. Open [Integrations](https://app.etropo.com/integrations) in the sidebar.
2. Click **Connect** on the **Attio** card.
3. Approve access on the Attio page.

Etropo opens again and shows Attio as connected. To open the Attio settings page later, click the **⋮** menu on the Attio card, then click **Settings**.

## Track a campaign with Attio

Set up tracking for each campaign on its own page. Learn more about the campaign page in [Marketing Campaigns](https://docs.etropo.com/spend-tracking/campaigns).

1. Open the campaign.
2. Click **Connect to Attio** in the top-right corner.
3. In **Pipeline Stage**, select the stage that counts as a lead.
4. Optional: in **Filter Attribute**, select a deal attribute, such as a UTM source.
5. Optional: in **Filter Value**, type the value the attribute must have.
6. Optional: turn on **Sync Revenue** to sync deal values into **Revenue**.
7. Click **Save**.

These rules apply:

- **Leads** is the number of deals in the selected stage. With a filter, Etropo counts only the deals whose attribute equals the filter value.
- **Revenue** is the sum of the deal values of the same deals. Without **Sync Revenue**, you type revenue yourself.
- The stage list shows your Attio deal stages. Archived stages do not appear.
- A campaign tracks one stage. Several campaigns can track the same stage with different filters.

The scoreboard shows the Attio logo next to the synced values, and you cannot type over them.

## When data syncs

Etropo syncs Attio once per browser session. The sync starts when you first open the [Campaigns](https://app.etropo.com/campaigns) list or a campaign page. There is no scheduled sync in the background.

To sync now:

1. Open the Attio settings page.
2. Click **Sync All**.

The **Campaign Mappings** table on the same page shows each tracked campaign with its stage, filter, leads, last sync time and status. A status of **Error** means the last sync failed. Hover over it to see why.

## Change or stop tracking

To change the stage, filter or revenue setting:

1. Open the campaign.
2. Click **Edit Attio connection** in the top-right corner.
3. Make your changes.
4. Click **Update**.

To stop tracking, click **Remove Tracking** in the same dialog. You can also click the trash icon in the campaign's row on the Attio settings page. Both remove tracking at once, without a confirmation step.

When you remove tracking, Leads and Revenue keep their last synced values. You can then type new values.

## Disconnect Attio

1. Open the Attio settings page.
2. Click **Disconnect** in the top-right corner.

Etropo disconnects at once, without a confirmation step. Disconnecting removes tracking from every campaign and stops all syncing. Values already synced to campaigns stay.

## Troubleshooting

### "Setup Required" when you connect a campaign

The **Deals** object is off in your Attio workspace.

1. Click **Open Attio Settings** in the dialog.
2. In Attio, go to **Objects** → **Standard objects**.
3. Turn on **Deals**.
4. Open the campaign in Etropo and click **Connect to Attio** again.

### "Connection Expired"

Etropo can no longer reach your Attio workspace.

1. Click **Go to Attio Integration** in the dialog.
2. Click **Disconnect**.
3. Click **Connect Attio** and approve access again.
4. Set up tracking on each campaign again, because disconnecting removes it.

### Leads stay at zero

- Check in Attio that deals exist in the selected stage.
- If you use a filter, check that the filter value equals the attribute value in Attio exactly.
- Click **Sync All** on the Attio settings page.
- Check the **Status** column in the **Campaign Mappings** table for errors.

## Privacy & Security

We take the security and privacy of your data seriously. Here's how we handle your data when you connect Etropo to Attio:

**Data Collection**

When you use the Attio integration, we collect:

- Workspace ID for connection management

**Data Processing**

- Etropo only accesses deal counts and values, not other deal details
- All requests are validated using OAuth authentication
- Organization-level access control keeps each organization's data separate

**Data Storage**

- Location: All data is stored in EU-central-1 (Frankfurt, Germany)
- Access Control: Only authorized users within your organization can access and modify data

**Revoking Access**

You can revoke Etropo's access at any time:

- From Etropo: click **Disconnect** on the Attio settings page
- From Attio: remove the Etropo app in your Attio workspace settings

For complete details about how we handle your data, please review our [Privacy Policy](https://www.etropo.com/legal).

## FAQ

No. Each campaign tracks one stage. Create separate campaigns if you need to track different stages.

**How often does data sync?**

Once per browser session, when you first open the Campaigns list or a campaign page. Click **Sync All** on the Attio settings page to sync at any time.

**Will deleting a deal in Attio update my campaign?**

Yes. The next sync shows the new deal count.

**Can I use the same Attio stage for several campaigns?**

Yes. Give each campaign a different filter value. For example, two campaigns can both track "Closed Won" and filter by different UTM sources.

**What happens if I rename a stage in Attio?**

Tracking continues. To show the new name in Etropo, open **Edit Attio connection**, select the stage again, and click **Update**.
